A good movie, but I did find 3 things, that did not make much sense to me from "realistic" POV:

  1. Why did Tsuneo think he would not be able to dive? Having a broken leg (or none even) can complicate things, yes, like needing assistive tech of some kind and limiting the depths he can dive, but... It won't prohibit him diving outright. It is a bummer, that he lost his initial chance to go, but it was not the end of the world of diving.
  2. I doubt tigers are placed behind such small fences in zoos. Even those born in the same zoos. I've been to a few and never saw such cases. Fences of similar height can be used for, say, llamas that do not tend to jump and are generally calm, but for a predator?.. Nah.
  3. The way the wheelchair slid in the end is unrealistic, considering that it even had a joystick. I do not have much experience in this things, but from what I understand, wheelchairs have different tires, thus she should have had winter ones. And even if she did not (which would be unwise), since it had the joystick, it should have breaks as well. Cheap wheelchairs may not have them, but these ones should and I think it's like a standard. And they are usually purely mechanical and designed to be used specifically in cases of losing control like that: you hit the breaks and then inertia does kick you out of chair (although I think some do have belts), but you have lesser chances of serious injuries. But, dunno, maybe there is a segment, where wheelchairs have those joysticks, but no brakes for some reason.
