First episode was such a drag. I get what they were trying to do here, but I did not feel anything. Nothing at all. The episode was made to make us feel pity for the guy and it was meant to justify his "rage", but I am not sure it meshes that well with the character that we actually saw, since it looked like he was kind of submissive and without much of a spine. So while it probably would make sense for him to end up in the situation leading to isekai, I am not sure he would have decided to become "evil", since I did not notice enough frustration and resentment from him, besides like 1 brief episode.
The addition of this "mischievous" entity that did the isekai also did not add much. I guess it was meant to "intrigue" us, but... Who cares? It's obvious that we won't see this guy in foreseeable future (from the series perspective), so he won't matter much, and if he is meant to mean something in the far off future... Well, we are likely to forget about him by that time, and even if not the impact of his re-appearance would depend solemnly on the "now" of the moment and not on whether we were shown a glimpse of his actions in the past. In fact, it would made more sense to show the past in the future, if you get what I mean.
Anyway, 2nd episode still did not catch my attention. Partially because it's still a stark contrast to the space that we saw in 1st episode. I do understand that both are part of the setting, but it still felt off. Mention and glimpses of magic made even less sense, too. Parents abandoning the boy made no sense at all, too, but I guess that's the point of the plot here? Or are those parents just completely retarded? I mean, from their perspective how would a toddler (from this world's perspective) save them from debts, let alone send them allowance?
But of course, the most important part of the show was the need for the boy to select nipples and genitalia for his android maid. Because why not? It's ok if this was just mentioned in passing, but too much time was spent on this. And, BTW, why would the parents even waste their non-existentn money on an android in the first place? Especially if AI is frowned upon here? Everything is so stupid here, I can't even...
