Apocalypse Hotel

Realism is definitely not part of this anime. Why do they need a driller in hotel? Why does cook robot actually cook, when there is no one to cook for? Why write log on paper instead of typing it on some PC and storing it (or actually just "dumping" it from the robot's head)? Where is the electricity coming from? Why opening a door is considered a skill and how would it degrade in just 2 hours, let alone require 2 years to recover? And most importantly, why does it look AI generated, especially the faces?

I will give this show a chance, but it looks like it may become more like an anthology in and around the hotel, without real story, and if that's the case, it's just not my genre.

Episode 2:

So, I guess all the humor will be based on inability to understand aliens and to try to adapt (or rather learn from them)? The alien looked interesting, and it would be nice to understand what it was doing and why, but no one really cared about it, I guess. It's also unclear how would he know that this is a hotel? Why would we assume that his concept of a "hotel" is same as ours? Same expectations? And yeah, I know it may not be a "he" even, but that's secondary here. It is also unclear why a robot that's just an environment conditions checker would need to be able to speak.

Anyway, I will give it benefit of the 3rd episode, but looks like it's not for me.

No, not my thing after all. It's a complilation-like show, and I just keep stumbling on things that break my suspension of disbelief.
