It started quite "meh". Not like it became "peak" by the end of the episode, but... The magic can become interesting here. It's not breaking the existing rules (the way they were presented), but rather expands them, and acquisition of the power was simple, but it made sense and was effective (obviously). I already can tell, that the guy will eat the godstone next episode and probably get further boost, which may worsen the story-telling, but we'll see.

I am not sure about the isekai aspects here. I do not think they add much. They have already shown some "divine seals", and their "divinity" probably could have explained the "unexplained knowledge" within the rules of this world without the potential reincarnation. It may still turn out to be the case here, but it will most likely be a reincarnation and memory slowly getting back to the guy. I am giving it a chance for now, though.

Episode 2:

It clearly tries to suggest that there is some complex magic system here, that most people in the world of the story know only a small part of. I did not like this sudden boost in power for the guy, since it felt too abrupt, not satisfying and, probably, undeserved, but still giving it a chance. I am curious about 2 other things:

  1. Why did the color of his spirit energy was red this time, when he drank godstone? In the 1st episode it was white. Was it just because of the amount he drank or something else?
  2. Why did they paid so much attention to the princess' cleavage? The frame they were using was not focusing on it at all, and if they did not make that whole moment with zoom-in - I would not even notice anything. And the zoom was not even that bug, like "we will show cleavage, but we will be shy about it".
