We had boring car races this season, now we have boring bicycle races. It looks like creators of both shows have not seen a single race in their lives. Or, at least, not a single racing show, that can keep you on the edge of your seat. There was too much talk, and too much exposition dumping through that talk, with most of it not mattering at all, at least not in context of the 1st episode. I mean half of the episode is a hot-springs scene with naked girls talking about how exciting the race they saw was. But we saw the same race, and it was not exciting at all, since we did not see any real struggle, any real effort, any professionalism, or any sort of emotions from the racers. It was completely hollow, and onsen was out-of-place.
