World-building is definitely not the strongest suit here. Art is also questionable to me. I mean it looks good, and can look even better in motion, but the problem is that it feels inconsistent with the frame-rate. I mean, it's probably not frame-rate, but more like frames per motion or something. It tries to look like Spider-Verse, but it does not work in my eyes, since because of the inconsistencies, and because it is also trying to have a more "realistic" art-style. The story also felt like a total mess with practically no motivations explained for any of the characters. What was the point of all this? Especially the girl handing over the candy closer to the end of the episode. Or maybe it's for people with more eagle-eyed vision than me. Or with none, dunno.
