EASEUS, I have even provided you with exact timeline explaining what I found wrong, but you still answer me as if I am stupid and have no idea how backup software works. Your app is better than AOMEI Software's Backupper (at least for my needs), but your support has not been good.

For context for people reading this post: my issue is not that a backup was missed (this is expected, based on settings, although it could have been improved to work like Windows' Task Scheduler), but that there was an unexpected backup, and that a backup done just a few minutes after that was too large (and that incremental backups are generally too large).

Extra backup definitely looks like a bug to me. Size of the backups, though, may not be a bug, but support simply implies I am stupid, even though the app has no tools to validate neither theirs, nor mine claim. And I am asking them to work together to get those tools (even just a log file, that would take a couple of minute to implement), test them and see if there is an issue or not.

If only Acronis had a software with just backup solution and with no subscription (even if without major updates) - that would have saved so much headache for me... But I am definitely not going to pay a subscription for backup software, it should be one time purchase.

This is extremely ambiguous. Does this mean “this is how it works, and this is intentional, this is by design” or does this mean “this is how it works, this is not intentional, but a bug, and we’re going to address this”? I mean, from my side, this is not a feedback thing, as I’ve shared before, but “hey, you may have an issue in your software”. If your position in the argument is “this is by design, it’s just that you’re too stupid to understand it”, then I want my money back. If that’s not the case, I need a proper answer, and not… this.

I did get a refund withing a couple of days, and in the end had to settle for Acronis, after all. I had a touch case with them, as well, where some stupidity was present initially, but in the end we were able to resolve a pretty difficult and obscure bug in the app, so they are get a kind of a "pass" from me for now.
