Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

Rae'las is the one in the front of the charge. He might not always think things through before running head-first into danger, but he has a knack for getting out of tight spots. Raised in Limsa Lominsa by adoptive Hyur parents, Rae'las has always longed for adventure. His desire to see the world and make a difference led him on many adventures to this day.
Rae'las was not always the chipper lad you might meet, but he was once more reclusive in his younger years. The mystery of his real parents and death of his adoptive parents led him to early vices and petty crime at a young age, before he became an adventurer. His brother (biological son to his adoptive parents), Tel'dan, was a crime lord around this time. Rae'las and Tel'dan came from a line of entrepreneurs. Their father owned many businesses in major cities. Rae'las wanted to follow his brother's footsteps as a criminal before he discovered the truth of his woes. Tel'dan orchestrated the assassination of his own parents, the Blackdawns. It was a carefully executed scheme to bankrupt and dismantle the rival business of one of the largest groups of underworld dealers. That business was Blackdawn Enterprises. The deaths of his parents led to more business on the black market, as no one stood to claim the company. Rae'las was far too young, and Tel'dan was a wanted criminal.
Rae'las learned the truth from his brother's own mouth. Rae'las acted brashly and attacked his brother in the open after learning the truth some years later. A battle to the death ensued with Rae'las as the victor. Rae'las did not enjoy this bitter end, but he was content that perhaps one day, he could bring a better meaning to the name Blackdawn. Since that day, he has roamed Eorzea seeking to balance both the light and dark within himself.
His quest for purpose led him to the Gladiators of Ul'dah, where he fought for coin to eat. He did not fare well in his early months, but progressed. He took odd jobs until he gained the attention of the Paladins, who took him in and taught him how to use his Light for good. Though he remained a wandering Paladin for some time, his next mentor would have him harness what has been welling within him since he clung to the Light.
A wandering Dark Knight met Rae'las on a lonely road and challenged him, but at the end of their scuffle, the Dark Knight proved his superiority. He sensed a great darkness within Rae'las and offered to show him what power he could wield. Rae'las accepted and began to harness his darkness.
Though he became very strong, he once again felt as though the balance within him was too volatile. Until one day he found the teachings of Red Mages. Harnessing this power, Rae'las combined his expert swordplay with his new magical abilities. To him, balancing both White and Black magic was a beautiful metaphor and solution to his quarrel with Light and Dark.
