My character name and race originated from FFXI where I played a WHM main and WAR/BLM/THF (THF got no love in FFXI parties). Looking back on it, the amount of time I spent grinding out levels might have been a waste since I never progressed past lvl 56 but I had fun at the time I was doing it :) Especially that run the Jeuno as a lvl 20 for your chocobo license. I also found the Japanese player base extremely helpful, one particular WHM named Goofy was the reason I started leveling WHM when I originally started out as a BLM.

For better or for worse FFXIV: A Realm Reborn has gone with some tried and true methods for MMO's. I've been enjoying myself so far but wonder what new things they have in store.

Other then that I hope that they somehow get ahold of the powercreep that's been showing itself as the gear gets progressively higher ilvls. And stop releasing merchandise that I ONLY WANT FOR THE MINIONS (Looking at you plushies)
