Lalafell issu d'une famille noble et conservatrice, originaire du "Nouveau Monde" venu en Eorzéa bien avant la chute de Dalamud, sous le nom d'emprunt Sanphillia afin d'échapper à l'influence de sa famille.
Le temps passa... Et sa famille finie par entendre parler des exploits d'un certain Erendwel, Guerrier de la Lumière, envoyant par l'occasion un de leur servant à la recherche ce fameux héros.
Son identité étant découverte, il pensait devoir rentrer au pays mais pour une raison inconnue il reçu la bénédiction de sa famille à poursuivre ses pérégrinations.
