Mandrick was trained to fight by a young Elezen man. After the death of the young man Mandrick found Zarius.It turned out Zarius was a adventurer and continued Mandricks training. Zarius then introduced Mandrick to his closest friends which was like his family. Zarius decided he wanted to take a break from travelling and become a merchant for a while.So he gave control over his LS Cursed Battalion to Mandrick and told him to use it well.
