Drathon Draktaru arrived in Eorzea sometime before the calamitous end of the sixth astral era. Having lost his memories he searched for answers to the images that haunted his dreams. Hazy recollections of companions and a laughing mage who’s spell had thrown him into the endless void between worlds. Having felt an intense connection with the energies of darker magic Drathon traveled to the desert city of Ul’dah to study within the Thaumaturge guild. Eventually, Drathon met the mysterious and heretical self-proclaimed Black Mage Ququruka, who rekindled more of his lost memories. He recalled that he had been a Black Mage in another time and another world. Drathon then dedicated his life to once again becoming a Black Mage and eventually fought against Nael Van Darnus atop Rivenroad. Although Van Darnus was defeated his machinations to bring down Dalmud succeeded. Fighting with his compatriots at the Battle of Carteneau, Drathon was carried forward in time by the final gambit of Louisoix Leveilleur. Arriving five years later Drathon eventually met the person who had sent him to Eorzea and demanded answers to his last question. He demanded to know “Who was the other you sent with me”. Smiling impishly, she began teleporting away, her laughing voice imparting the truth of his betrayal by those he held closest.
