Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Fitz was discovered floating unconscious in the Rhotano Sea by a merchant ship headed for Limsa Lominsa. After being taken aboard, he awoke with no memory of his past or origin, just his name. The only clue to his prior life is a faded scrap of paper the ship's crew found inside a pocket of his dingy clothes. It bears a single word – Thaliak.
Cold and frightened, Fitz kept to himself through the remainder of the trip. The old Roegadyn captain, feeling sorry for the lad and not wanting him to be defenseless, gave Fitz an old bow and a few poorly made arrows. Although the weapon felt strange in his hands, Fitz bravely helped defend the lives of those on board when the ship was beset by merciless sea creatures. Counting his blessings, and as a sign of gratitude to the captain who took him on, Fitz keeps the crude wooden contraption close to him at all times.
After finally arriving on land, Fitz wandered through the sprawling port city and made his way to the market wards. While perusing the merchandise on the streets, he felt oddly drawn to a scepter, a vague familiarity overcoming him. Suddenly Fitz was beset with a vision of a remote school in a far away land. Struggling to remember where he come from, he let out an unbidden cry, "O, Thaliak!"
Embracing the only clues he has, Fitz believes he was once an aspiring scholar, devoted to knowledge in all shapes and forms. Desperate to learn as much as he can, he pursues knowledge of every variety, from the arcane and natural to the martial and constructed. As he attempts to begin rebuilding his life, Fitz clings to his torn parchment, planing to one day make his way to Sharlayan with hopes of discovering who he really is.
Because he knows so little about himself, Fitz is extremely shy and quiet. He often seems withdrawn and anti-social, even though he craves companionship and belonging. He pours himself into his studies, to the point that he has a tendency to examine even insignificant details with intrigue. His natural inquisitiveness often leads to unfortunate circumstances. (What's this do? … ka-BLAM! / I wonder if these things are aggressive? … dirt nap) While he finds it hard to trust others, Fitz tries to give them the benefit of the doubt.
