Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Marcquessen is a Duskwight Elezen - despite his skin being far more white-ash than grey-ash - born under the Shroud fifteen years before the Calamity. His mother was a tinsmith and general crafter of tchotchkes, his father a small time merchant seafarer. With little to their name, the family as a whole made what money they could by dealing on the fringes of criminality; while they never engaged in piracy or full-scale smuggling, the Helleforts were known for fencing, money laundering, and other tricks to turn illegitimate work into legitimate profit. Marcquessen was apprenticed to his father, and being a criminal who committed only minor crimes fit quite well with being one of the haughty Elezen, but the more spurned lower-caste of them... where Marcquessen was not the best of the worst, he was the worst of the best. This double-whammy, this chasm between his desire and his reach, led to the acquisition of a chip on his shoulder the size of Azys Lla.
As befits sea-going scoundrels, the Helleforts spent a great deal of time in Limsa Lominsa, and had pulled in to deal in questionably legal fabrics when the Calamity struck in earnest. Marcquessen recalls only a little of that terrible day, but what he does remember is burned into his mind; screaming, noise, being pulled along by the crowd, waiting in a crowded cellar under a mill trying not to cower at every explosion of noise and force. What he remembers most forcefully of all in the hours of the night is the feeling of intense, utter powerlessness. Seeking refuge from sorrow in anger, Marcquessen had subconsciously cast about for something to blame, and his mind seized the bluff and hearty Knights of the Barracuda who had sheltered them - particularly when one assured his father that "no worries, a real soldier's not gonna let any mob of skinny little 'Lezen get hurt!"
With presumed inferiority driving his rage at his own powerlessness, Marcquessen spent all the time he could manage on his own strength, working at the hatchet to bring in firewood, breaking stone to repair the underground Duskwight houses, running through the Shroud for hours on end. Finally, years later, he returned to Limsa to take up the axe, determined to show that an Elezen - that a Hellefort - that a young man who'd hidden helpless throughout the greatest tragedy in living memory could take the job of even a massive Roegadyn, and do it BETTER.
While his ever-present cauldron of resentment has cooled little, despite his youth (he's seen barely twenty one winters), Marcquessen has proven adept at a number of skills... not merely the power of the axe, but the complexity of healing arcanima, and the speed and precision of the katana and the gun. In the end, he's still that boy who wants to prove his worth, and knows the best way to do that is to help and protect others.
He likes chocobos more than most people, in that he likes chocobos more than most people do, but also that he likes chocobos more than he likes most people.
