とにかく勝つことが全て。魅せるためのプレイはしないし、要求されてもできない。 強い技があれば率先して使い、無限コンボだろうと永パだろうと、入る状況なら狙う。負けた時に言い訳をしたくないから。 それをやっていれば勝っていたのにと思いたくない。 「寒い」「つまらない」「卑怯」「レバーが悪い」「調子が悪い」。これは自分の中でのタブー。 負けた時の言い訳にしかならないからだ。相手に暗黙の了解を押しつけて、 それにそぐわない相手に対して批判して安心感を得る為の言葉。 自分の価値観を押しつけるなら、最初から一人用のゲームでもやってる。 価値観は自分の中にだけあるもので、違う価値観同士をぶつけることにこそ対戦の醍醐味がある。 「ゲーム＝ルールの中の遊び」なのに、それ以上の外部ルールを加える必要はない。 ゲーム上では何をやっても「ルール内」。ルールの中では自由なのだ。 負けて悔しければ勝つためになんでもやればいい。逆に自分がその手の言葉を言われると「してやったり」という感じである。 「たとえ試合に負けても、内容で勝てばいい」と言う人がいるが、オレには意味がよく解らない。 そういう試合が100試合続いたとして、その人はまだ同じ事を言っていられるのだろうか？ 内容で勝ってても、100試合負けてると言う現実はどうでもいいのだろうか？ たまに勝てばいい、なんてムシのいいことを言う奴は、何を考えて生きているのか疑問に思う。 そもそも、内容で勝つってどういう勝ち方なんだろう？ 自分は強くないとは言わない。今まで倒してきた人に対して失礼だから。 それに、「自分は弱いから」と思って対戦していても、そこに理論や哲学はあり得ない。 そこにあるのは負けた時の言い訳に事欠かない自分だけである。そんな考え方で勝っても、相手に失礼だ
