Don’t bother asking, he won’t answer. It’s just rumors and speculation, but they say he is a member of one of the four noble houses of Ishgard. A former dragoon captain none the less. Of course, that all changed in one white hot instant...

He was just about to sit down with the family when the dragon came a calling. Out the door in a flash with spear in hand, up in to the air he flew. He came down on that dragon so hard that his spear went clean through. His face slammed into one of the dragons spines, ripping a gash in his flesh directly over his eye. The enormous beast writhed in pain, with his spear buried deep within its bowels he had no grip and was thrown. The last thing he saw before plummeting towards the bottom of Coerthas was the dragon. Using its’ final breath it let lose a volcanic conflagration of liquid flame. He watched, in that fleeting moment, as his family’s home became a molten inferno.

Not quite sure how he survived the fall. Maybe Halone caught him, after witnessing something like that there was probably enough rage in the man that even a goddess would take notice. He wandered Eorzea for years after that, studying in all manner of arts. He’s been through here a few times before finally settling on that beach out there. Every second that he’s awake you can find him out on the sand, training. Vowing never again, next time he will be the gleaming shield that protects those he cares about. That he will be the warrior between those he loves, and the flame.

Then again, maybe he just got drunk, banged his head and fell off a cliff. Now he’s out there broke in the head and just as crazy as the rest of us…..
