Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Born on the seventeenth sun of the second astral moon in the year 1557 of the Sixth Astral Era (3/7/1557 6AE), M'Khin Tia spent his formative in the hamlet of Quarrymill. His mother had a strong desire for him to become a member for the Gods' Bow in Gridania, however he had initially grown to resent martial teachings, preferring instead to sing tales of daring-do to those that would hear it. This dissonance caused tensions to boil over on his fourteenth nameday, even getting his father involved with the fight. His father thought it best not to slay him outright, but rather let him learn the error of his ways, and this he was cast out of the M' tribe and stripped of his birthright.
The now nameless miquo'te wandered the land, calling himself the Outcast and taking odd jobs to support himself. He wound up in Mor Dhona the day the Agrius fought Midgardsormr, that which stirred him to sing about the epic battle in taverns across the land. Eventually this had come to the attention of Sunshine Musical Holdings in Ul'dah.
One night after his performance at the Coffer & Coffin he had sought to use his meager earnings to get a night's rest at the Sunshine approached him with an offer to make him a star, one like the realm had never heard before. It was one thing to be singing in taverns but another to be heard on one of the realm's foremost music linkshells.
The managers at Sunshine though disagreed with the use of the Outcast moniker, thinking that it might make him sound like the Ala Mhigan refugees that roam the streets of Ul'dah begging for scraps. They suggested that if he cannot use his birth name that he then adopt a hyuran name. He Adopted the name Dedrick Brighton for his on air and new performing personality.
At one point he performed at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre to a crowd of hundreds. After the performance he received a summons by Lady Amandine. She had proposed that he become her consort. While he did recognize her beauty he did not want to be tied down, and thus refused the offer. Shortly after this encounter he seemed to have dropped from fame and a mark appeared on his face.
Over the next ten years he would move to settle in Ul'dah proper, not only singing in taverns but also taking up the bow, the very thing that be rebelled against as a teenager. In a job guarding a caravan he heard stirrings of Imperial invasion. Not wanting to lose this semblance of freedom he joins the Immortal Flames. He fought at Carteneu, but he cannot remember that day.
He remained a reserve member of the Flames, taking jobs between missions. One day after the fall of Van Baelsar, he was approached by Lady Lilira. She let loose to him that there was a secret group looking into voidal research and that it might do him good to seek them out. Not one to turn down such a clue to where the mark came from as well as the halt of his aging, he decided to take the noblewoman's advice and seek out the Acolytes of the Void.
