An adventurous Xaela Auri who traveled to Eorzea from parts unknown. Despite the obsidian draconic features of her race's clan and of their expected temperament, Kia is a noble and virtuous soul more than willing to help those in need. Though her desire for adventure was born of dreams to explore the world and fight evildoers, the harsh reality of the realm of Eorzea was much more than she bargained for, for the world is not so simple, not so black and white and her endeavors have exposed her to so many shades of gray.
Nevertheless, the bonds she has forged and the battles she weathered served to temper her from a naive and curious adventurer into a hardened mature warrior awakened to the needs of many. Though still an adventurer by heart, she's not one to shy away when duty calls, for her priorities are to her friends and allies.
Though foreign to the lands, Kia calls Gridania her home. When a city-state isn't being threatened by the emergence of a primal or a Garlean army marching in unison for an invasion, she's more than happy to retreat back into the lush green and peaceful comfort that the woods provide.
