Paxley "Pax" Mendiola is a simple Lala with only a couple things on her mind at any time: nature and food. She hails from a farming family, and learned to respect nature's bountiful harvest from a young age. To nurture life is its own reward, but Paxley's family saw more than just that. She had a talent for borrowing from nature's very essence and using it to benefit her and others. Her aptitude for what she would later know to be conjury was no surprise to her parents, for her mother had the gift as well, but Paxley wasn't content just to use it on the farm. Not to be mistaken, she thoroughly enjoyed being able to help her family make a living, but she felt as though there was a much better opportunity for her out there, somewhere. She saw the potential for her power to help many people, so she left her parents' farm and travelled far to the land of Eorzea.
Paxley is a generally upbeat and positive little Lalafell. She is prone to be a bit grumpy when things don't go her way, but she never holds a grudge. She lives to help others, to the point where she sometimes finds herself biting off more than she can chew. Nevertheless, she's always determined to get the job done right, and rewards herself with a hearty meal thereafter (though she's a terrible chef, so she never really cooks for herself). Though she's generally laid back to the point of being a bit lazy, when she's at work she's known to adopt a very determined and no-nonsense attitude. Her moral compass points straight and true. Oh yeah, and she loves bunnies. Like, a lot.
