Hobbies: Dancing, she spent around 5 years performing and still loves dancing. She also loves a wide variety of music.

Flaws: She has very basic reading and math skills due to a poor education. She knows enough to get by, but they're not strong areas for her. She also struggles with a fear of abandonment and also allowing herself to have close relationships with others.
Background: Sami was born in Ilsabard to two Keepers of the Moon, but after her mother fell ill her family fled to Rhalgr's Reach for medical care. Before they made it there her mother passed away leaving her father in dismay. After finding a place outside of Rhalgr's Reach for burial, Sami and her father continued to the city. Her father spent most of the time drinking and barely taking care of her, let alone himself. They spent about a week there before one morning Sami woke up to find her father missing. Scared and confused she found her way to the medical area where a few kind people calmed her. She had been orphaned.
Sami was only shy of her 5th namesday.
Growing up in the Reach, she never really had solid guardians, but the medics and few locals made an effort to take turns caring for her, allowing her one of the beds in the medical area as home. While she had a roof over her head and a bit of food to keep her going, she did miss out on a steady education.
When Sami was 15 she came across a visitor to Rhalgr's Reach who would change her life. She was an Elezen by the name of Cireanne and she offered Sami work in a place she had never heard of, Ul'dah. She promised it was good pay in a flourishing city. It wasn't long until she left the Reach for this new life. This work wasn't quite what she had expected, originally told that Cireanne's business was a performance group that traveled around many of the cities. It turned out the work was actually a group of thieves using this business as a front for their actual work of swindling the patrons of the shows. Unsure if this was the right way to go for herself, she did stay as a means to make gil and have somewhat of a home.
Only a few years ago she grew tired of the lifestyle she was in and decided to leave Cireanne's business with gil she had saved in the years she worked. She settled in Ul'dah, a city she ended up falling in love with. She found home in the Hourglass Inn and worked playing waitress at The Quicksand as well as picking up a few oddball jobs here and there.
