Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Mimifono Rorofono, a troublesome, yet loyal Dunesfolk Lalafell, grew up in the rough backstreets of Ul'dah after being orphaned at a young age. His adventure began after escaping from the cruel, Lominsan Pirate and former Steppe warrior, Bayar Oronir, for whom he worked for as a retainer in a desperate attempt to earn Gil. Working as a retainer showed Mimifono the suffering inflicted on most of Eorzea by the Calamity, and determined to restore peace, he joined the immortal flames, and the fight to defeat the Garlean Empire. He was trained to become a paladin under the watchful eye of Commander Lyall, The White Wolf Of Coerthas, and his loyalty and success on many missions led to him rising to the rank of lieutenant quickly.
Mimifono was quickly put to the ultimate test when tasked with leading the battle against Nidhogg, and putting an end to the Dragonsong War which had taken its toll on Ishgard for many years. Mimifono was able to slay the terrifying dragon but not without consequences, for he was inflicted with the curse of the Dragonsong. The Lalafell grew terrifying demon horns and claws and gained superhuman strength, along with an unstoppable hunger for combat. But this meant convincing his friends and company that he was able to control his newfound strength.
After several months of careful monitoring, it became clear to commander Lyall that Mimifono was not a threat to his allies and gave him the opportunity to put his desires to fight to good use. For tensions were rising in The Lochs, as the Eorzean alliance prepare to storm Ala Mhigo and take back what was theirs. Mimifono was ordered to lead a team of resistance fighters into the warzone and take down the terrifying Zenos Yae Galvus, who was responsible for much of the suffering faced throughout Eorzea. Mimifono had abandoned his Paladin's sword and shield for a mighty battle-axe, capable of dealing unbelievable amounts of damage. But would he be able to control his passion for combat, and prove Commander Lyall that he remains loyal to The Flames in his biggest challenge yet?
