Born to a wealthy line of Miqo'te milk barons Iris's childhood was filled with so much rich tasting white sause that she developed a lactose intolerance for it.
Not wishing to be subjected to uncomfortably long bathroom breaks due to "quality control" testing of her families syrupy goodness she left the safety of the compound (much to her parent's dismay)
After many moons of travel she overheard the distinct sounds of battle in the distance. Wondering where this "off" sounding music was coming from Iris decided to investigate (more for entertainment purposes she told herself) she needed a big change of scenery after braving the black shrowd.
Iris came to the crest of a hill, sat down and opened a tall bottle of soy milk (she'd never admit it but she enjoyed the white stuffs taste) and enjoyed the entertainment of two massive armies throwing down.
That was until big firery rocks of boom boom starting impacting the ground which woke her from the blissful dream she was experiencing. Iris, not wanting to be a barbequed cat-kabob got her fluffy butt up and carefully made her way to the brightly colored armies staging ground (the other guys looked spooky) and doned herself a brightly colored....uniform? (It looked like a stage outfit to be honest) and made her way to the rest of the rear guard
See, in her mind the army will have a plan in place for retreat from falling meteors and some mages that could provide a shield. What she didn't expect however was some elf dude go hand her a bow that looked like it was a music thingy
Iris tried to explain that he mistook her for someone else but this dude was having none of it "the prophecy brought me to you" was what he was spewing and pushed her down a hill towards the frontlines.
When she arose however she found herself surrounded by the weirdest group of people she'd ever seen. A big dude with big weapons of some sort, a human dude with a sword, some "dude?" With a big hat (in reality she couldn't tell what was under there) and a small child doing some voodoo magic stuff.
The sword dude charged the enemies frontline with enough rage to inspire her to fire the bow thing aimlessly hoping for the best. Before she knew what was happening with all the "boom booms" and "pew bang pows" she was in a shield made by the criptic elf dude with fire everywhere.
The last thing she remembered was some squishy feeling in her stomach from the milk she had earlier then BAM in some carriage headed towards some tree hugger hippy town
