Satoru NUSHIYA est le fils d'une famille de négociants. Les origines de sa lignée sont Uldienne.

Son père (commercial hors pair) tient une petite entreprise en Hingashi.
Sa mère (couturière de renom et arcaniste) assure la gestion administrative et comptable de la société.
Satoru est né à Kugane. Son enfance fut bercée entre économmie, artisanat et érudition.
Il hérita de la soif insatiable de connaissances de sa mère et de l'éloquence de son père.

La fin de la sixième ère astrale fût un déclic pour Satoru, cette période de crises allait être l'origine de nombreuses opportunités mercantiles.
