Once an apprentice scholar in Doma she now is an adventurer far from home. She was happy to be studying under one of the master archaeologists in Doma when one night a group of bandits broke into the archives. The master came down and see what the noise was and that's when the bandits got him and started pushing him about and in doing so knocked over some of the artifacts. When Seirra entered half sleepy and rubbing her eyes she said " Master are you sleep cataloging again?" before she knew it one of the bandits had her trapped against one of the bookcases. As the bandits questioned them both about where they kept the items that would bring the most Gil the one that was trapping seirra got distracted by her golden blonde hair and he turned to the other and was starting to say something. That gave sierra a chance to reach for something on one of the shelf's. She was reaching for one of the vases that hadn't been cataloged yet but ended up pulling a black bladed katana off the shelf and before she knew it the bandit in front of her lay on the ground and before the others could react so did they. When the final one fell so did sierra. When she awoke her master had a worried look on his face and the garlean empire security force had grim looks on there face as they stood over one of the bandits body. The captain of the force had this cold look of anger on his face but before he could speak with sierra the master had gotten her to her feet and was headed out of the door. He was handing seirra what looked like a large tube that would carry maps and a sack full of gil. As they passed one shop she could see her reflection and was shocked her blonde hair now turned a pale purple like a corrupted crystal. The master explained that it had happened shortly after she fell to the ground and that the bracelet now on her arm had wrapped around her from the sword she had used. Hw was able to get her on a barge headed away from Doma and the Garlean Empire just in time for the security force to catch up with them. What she didn't know was that one of those bandits was the brother to the Captain of the Security Force. She now resides within Eorzea's free city states as an adventurer and researching the cursed sword she now wields.
