At first, I believed myself to be another plain Lalafell who had been granted the blessing of Hydaelyn's echo. Given the gift and chance to live a life of adventure and excitement. It was only later that I discovered the truth of my situation...
My true story begins as a baby dwarf born in Tomra, sadly it was right before the world of the First was to be engulfed by light. Hydaelyn, needing to move the Scion Minfilia over to save the world with her blessing, had to make a sacrifice to keep the balance between the First and the Source. Thus, I was exchanged and dropped into Eorzea to be raised by simple Lalafell Dunesfolk as one of their own. While the time passed in the Source was then a little over two decades; by the time Minfila disappeared and I was 25, only a few minutes had passed from when I had vanished from the First. A newborn child in exchange for a world, not really a bad trade thinking about it...
From there, I grew up believing myself to be another simple Lalafell farmer until I finally decided to try moving to the nearby city of Ul'dah to start the beginning of my would-be adventures. After discovering I too was in possession of the echo, I proceeded to assist Eorzea where I could with guidance from the Scions and the Warrior of Light.
Eventually, after many adventures across Eorzea, I ended up as another soldier in the coming war with Garlemald. It was during this time that I had received news of the Scions strange fate. How they had collapsed without warning and could not seem to awaken. Thanks to the efforts of the Warrior of Light we were able to ascertain what had happened. They were able to additionally establish a way for some of us to cross over to the First where we might help its residents and the Scions from falling to the threat of the light. It was during these travels that I learned the truth of my Dwarven heritage. While exploring the town of Tomra and assisting its residents, I discovered evidence of my own birth and disappearance written within the some of the town's historical records located in the building in the center of town. The records showed that a baby matching my description and bearing my birthmark had been born and mysteriously disappeared just before the calamity occurred and Minfilia first appeared in their world. Upon the discovery, I decided to attempt to embrace my dwarven heritage; though, I could not bring myself to forsake the Lalafell upbringing I was given. Thus, while I may be a Dwarf by way of blood, I do not adhere to all of their traditions such as their strict rules regarding the showing of one's face.
Now, having learned of my past and place in the world, I continue to strive to make both my ancestor's and family proud; by assisting those in need of an adventurer's help and by bringing a smile to faces where needed.
