Raised in the South Shroud of Gridania, Maryjane is the daughter of marijuana farmers. Her parents are the harvesters of the only marijuana strain that can grow and flower at night, which could account for her vivid imagination. At the age of 7 she began taking up archery, becoming the first female junior Archer champion at age 10. Her parents were so proud of her, they gifted Maryjane her first pet, a lesser panda which she named Simon. For the next 14 years Maryjane and Simon lived happily farming and harvesting. One afternoon after her usual 4:20 blunt, Maryjane looked at a map and found a town called Weed. That was the day she set off on her quest, for she knew it was her duty to go there and be crowned Mayor. With Simon by her side, they venture forth to that far off town full of wonder.
