Cast out from his tribe for refusing to mate, a young Daxtrix set to the sea to find a place where he could be himself and live the life he wanted to live.

Dax had many run ins with pirates on his ocean journey to a point he had made quite a name for himself for foiling the dastardly deeds of many pirates and even sometimes imperial soldiers.

When Dax finally arrived in Limsa Lominsa, he was recruited into the Culinary guild to begin a career as a cook and was often seen studying Arcanist magic on the side at the nearby Arcanist guild where he eventually learned to become a Summoner.
