Born on 7th Sun of the 6th Umbral Moon under protection of Oschon, the Wanderer.

Currently is resident of Limsa Lominsa, Vylbrand on Balmung of Crystal.

Reached rank of Second Storm Lieutenant in Maelstrom Grand company.

Having spent his childhood in Ul'Dah and his adolescence in Limsa Lominsa, until shortly before the calamity Volkai spent his time as an assistant to Seventh Pillar, the Sea Wolf Gillionaire and Goldsmith renowned for creating an international merchant consortium between Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, and Ul'Dah. Thirteen months before the Calamity, Volkai and Seventh both disappeared.

A month later, Volkai was spotted again in Ul'Dah, participating in the new Adventurer trade as a member of the Conjurer's Guild.

Five years after Dalamud fell, Volkai appeared once more in Limsa Lominsa, having seemingly traded his sword and wand in for an Arcanist' book, and his association (made public in the final year before the Calamity) with the Order of the Storm Guard is old news superceded(?) by his membership in the Traveling Templar and The Adventuring League of Eorzea.

Those that keep an eye on him suspect Volkai may be trying to revive Seventh Pillar's work in the aftermath of the Calamity.

Of late Volkai has withdrawn from the field of Adventure to take over command of the international merchant consortium that Seventh had founded, as Seventh's business partner has taken ill (and is rumored to have been whisked away to Old Sharlayan for advanced medical care).

The Order? Seemingly defunct.
The League? Quiet, calm. Able to get by without his active assistance for a time.
The Templar? Honestly, who can say where they have traveled this time?
His sister? Protector, defender, guardian, and avenger that she is, she aids all three in Volkai's stead.

Volkai Nailo is alive and well, and his adventuring days may not yet be over -- but for a time, at least, he is on a Sabbatical From Adventure.
