Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Etienne was born in Bentbranch meadows to a traveling Lalalfellin merchant and a highborn Elezen woman who had moved from Ishgard to the Black Shroud just after she came of age.
The couple did not stay together long. An aspiring author and school teacher, Jennie Gautreaux was responsible for the majority of Etienne's rearing and education. She married a Hyuran man when Etienne was eight summers old, and quickly became pregnant with her second child: a daughter, Nicolette. For a time, she juggled the responsibility of two children, but as Etienne's mixed heritage became more apparent with his age she decided against the extended responsibility.
Etienne was sent to the Ul'Dahn bloodsands when he was 11 and remained a gladiator for seven years. During this time, he acquired the title "Of the Blue Rose" --a symbolic reclamation of the ridicule he received for the circumstances of his conception that lent themselves to the meaning of the bloom-- impossible love.
While Etienne had originally believed his tenure as a gladiator was more akin to a boarding school than an indenture, when he was 16 his victories had paid off his contract and he was informed of his status as a free man. That his mother had sold him off was a reality that stung deeply, but Etienne remained on the sands for two more years saving money for his own use as well as sending his mother her monthly cut.
On his 18th nameday he officially gave up the gladiator's sword, and was disowned by his mother for lack of consideration for her feelings. Etienne sought out his father in Costa del Sol, where the now-retired Benne Penne resided. The former merchant arranged passage for Etienne to Kugane. The timing was fortuitous: the Calamity struck as he was on his way out.
Etienne lived in Kugane for some time, becoming conversational in the Hingashi dialect. During his travels in the East, he picked up the naginata and became enamored with polearm combat. Upon returning to Eorzea at the age of twenty and four, Etienne enlisted at the Adventurer's and Lancer's guilds in Gridania under his father's surname. His wish was not only to repay his father but to reconnect with his Ishgardian grandparents, who he knew next to nothing about. Ever fascinated with the Holy See from the books his mother had kept around when he was small, Etienne had not once visited the walled city.
Etienne has an upbeat and friendly demeanor. He is often late and cries easily. He is fond of birds, especially chocobos, and a frequent friend to many moogles. Etienne also has many dear Ishgardian friends, but Archombadin de Dzemael stands out as an especially unlikely and yet no less beloved confidante.
Etienne can be found most often in the Scholasticate or helping out around the Firmament while in Ishgard, though he now also keeps a permanent Gridanian residence. However, this doesn't mean he isn't prone to fits of of wanderlust, even if he draws out every goodbye.
