Azaria is a Miqo'te hybrid and unofficially referred to as ‚Creeper of the Twilight‘. On her mother's side, the blood of the X Tribe of the diurnal Seekers of the Sun flows through her veins. Family
Zari was the youngest member of a loving and caring family. However, drowned in blood and smothered in flames, her happy and fulfilled childhood came to an abrupt end at the age of only seven. On a storm-lashed night, four sinister men with the intention of kidnapping the girl, invaded her home and slaughtered everyone in front of her eyes - and have thus sealed their own doom. She escaped the massacre, leaving nothing behind but fire, death and destruction.

The tragic events in the final stages of the Dragonsong War had left their mark on both of them. Azaria in particular mourned the loss of a loved one. In order to distance themselves from Eorzea, they bought a small far eastern house in the Hingashi region. The interior design reflects the many places they have visited on their journeys.
