House Draucois is an old and storied house among Ishgard. Prior to the Dragon War, House Draucois enjoyed a great relationship with Dragons, Ratatoskr in particular. The house did not agree with King Thordan in his conquest to gain power and warned that they would not support the murder of Ratatoskr. When the King pursued the power regardless of House Draucois standing against it, the House left Ishgard and vowed to not return until peace was made with the dragons.

Not much is known of House Draucois during their time away from Ishgard. When heir apparent, Koceaux, learned of Ser Aymeric de Borel, he saw his chance to return House Draucois to their ancestral home. Upon his return, he founded 'The Dragons Dawn' and set up their HQ in the new Ishgardian Housing Quarters.

While Koceaux is proficient with most weapons, he is not a weapon master. Koceaux chose to focus on the sword and has become a sword master. Koceaux focuses on developing his skills as a Red Mage, yet is also efficient as a Paladin, Gunblade, and Samurai.
