With every fire, it is but a spark which ignites that fire. The woman that is Nomolun Ejinn was not always the fierce warrior she has grown into; one many might mistake for a Dotharl more than an Ejinn. Once upon a time, she was lost in the pleasant ephemeral dream which was her nomadic life along The One River, sometimes picking fights with her Dotharl brothers and sisters for no other reason than the fact she admired their ferocity. Yet, every dreamer must eventually be awoken to reality. This one courtesy of a fateful encounter within a place known as Reunion. Stories of metal men baring horrifyingly devastating weaponry, and massive boats which flew through the sky, bringing with it death, and destruction. Tales of a singular man, seemingly as fierce, if not more so, than any Dotharl or Oromir: Zenos.
Such tales enraptured the young Nomolun, who began drifting away from her river tribe. None, save for the singular tribe Orl, seemed to realize the danger the Garleans truly possessed to their way of life, her brothers and sisters of Nhaama content to keep going as they always did.
Nomolun, upon coming of age, decided she would not be content with this. She had heard tales of how the Orl had migrated far to the west, to a new land. Coerthas... Ishgard. Taking her own meager funds, her own armor and weaponry, and her pride as a Xaela, she struck out to this land. Hoping to learn more of the people who live there, and learn of their ways. To seek allies for the coming storm.
In part due to the horrific massacre of the Orl by the Ishgardians, Nomolun was fortunate enough to be, ever so hesitantly, welcomed into Ishgard in part due to her fighting prowess, and in part due to her incredibly blunt nature. She was initially denied entry into the city, but after she issued an open challenge, a man who saw a spark of worth within her assisted; Ser Aymeric had some of his best Temple Knights take this challenge, declaring that she would be allowed in should she prove herself capable. And prove herself capable she did, her many 'training' battles with the Dotharl proving key to this.
Given a temporary position within Ishgard as a soldier, Nomolun came to learn many things about her new home. Their war against the Dragons. Their racism, and the plight of the low born. The conniving machinations of those whom held the highest positions.
It was also there that she met many great friends.
