Risa Bronze, born Marisa Lenter, is the daughter of a traveling Blacksmith. Her father wants her to be one of the best and to be known as a legendary blacksmith, though Risa only sees it as a hobby.

She was commissioned by the Ul'dahn royal family to make ceremonial armor for an upcoming ceremony. She finished the armor and but still needed to reach Ul'dah. A caravan saw her and lent a hand in her travels. While on the carriage she spoke with a fellow blacksmith who yearned for adventure, there in that moment they said to each other, "The day i am handed an adventure i will start a new life, a life of adventure."

She laid in the carriage day dreaming of her new life. She decided to come up with a new name for herself in case an adventure would show up. She decided on Risa Bronze, Risa because her father would call her that for short, and Bronze because that was the material she used for her first play sword.

There she laid as the Gates to Ul'dah Welcomed her in to the festival...
