A scholar who set out to unearth various forms of lost magic, only to discover she was quite handy to have around when trying to kill gods. She would much prefer books and interesting aetheric phenomena to heroics and accolades, but she has a frustratingly stubborn conscience and can't seem to escape conflict.

Also, everyone she's ever fallen for has died or otherwise met a terrible fate, and she's taking that rather poorly at this point.

Alisaie is not related by blood, but they are definitely sisters in unreasoning guilt.
