Kehda'to has always been the smallest of his siblings, coming in at just over 4' tall. His eyes were big, and he had a demure personality, so he preferred to get his way by being cute than by being physical. He tended towards fashion most meant for girls and among the small cluster of families that they ran with, he was somewhere between being regarded as clever or annoying. Both his parents left the small clan in the hands of Aunt Pihyah when they were called to join that last calamitous battle, and try as he might, their faces have been lost to time, along with any memory of how they interacted with him or his siblings, although feelings remain. Pride, anger, terror--all of them swirl in a tempest inside Kehda'to.
Their family units never really appreciated Gridania's claim to the Shroud, nor how they handled it, and it was well known to the family unit that Aunt Pihyah provided through hunting and protected their small corner of the woods through targeted banditry and fear before the Calamity. The older kids assisted, but the ruination of the forest destroyed that life, and with it, they have been forced to embrace a more civil relationship with Eorzea's cities. To this end, both of his siblings went to find ways to earn their keep at Limsa Lominsa, in the halls of the great guilds that matched their personalities, and not long after, Kehda'to sought his own teachings closer to home, in Gridania.

Kehda established the Legacy of Light to bring together disparate adventurers and Scions. He is somewhat interested in collecting those blessed by Hydaelen, worrying that a new Calamity might remove the memory of them from people's minds once more. He takes rigorous notes on their experiences and adventures alongside and with the Scions, keeping a large library within the Free Company that boasts of adventures and tales just in case something of that ilk ever happens, although he does not advertise his paranoid journaling.

Kehda is a bit of a flirt, and has had several romantic flings over his time adventuring. He falls for people easily, and is easily swept up into romantic dalliances with anyone who is assertive and dominant. This includes problematic people. He is frequently chastised by his siblings for commenting on the attractiveness of a man who is currently causing them problems.
