It had been forever since their journey started, friends and loved ones a stack of corpses climbed to the tune of survival. A ladder from the void to a place of understanding. Whatever that void sent voice had been it kept its word. They had won for now. But at what cost? The answer was simple this victory had cost blood sweat tears and to some degree their freedom.
