Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Elezen (Duskwight) - 27 - Gelmorra - She/Hers No echo; Not WoL
Vianne's great grandparents fled Ishgard after being labeled heretics about a century and a half into the Dragonsong war. A noble family that expressed sympathy for the dragons had no place in Ishgard's religious order, and so they were silenced and crushed, and the survivors fled to Eorzea in search of safety. They sought Gelmorra, another home for Refugees, and were extended welcome there, although the Elementals took from them another quarter of their survivors in their haphazard entry into the Black Shroud.
They settled beneath the wood, with the people there, and took up a modest living. Some married, some took up new trade, and the remainder of their house managed to flourish in the coming century as they established themselves as cultivators of various decorative and edible fungi.
They were against the founding of Gridania. When several of the people of Gelmorra decided to make peace with the Elementals, the Derinloire family was among the loudest dissenters. They had been slaughtered, hunted and oppressed by the creatures when they had come seeking safety, and no small amount of their newfound family had the same stories. Making peace without the Elementals making restitution seemed like giving into their oppression, and they made this opinion known.
Thus the dissension between Gridanians and Gelmorrans became a rift of betrayal and distrust. Vianne's family has not changed this opinion of Gridanians, and while they preferred their own industry, they were not above violently retaliating against the occasional Gridanian incursion even as recently as a decade ago. Then, the damn Calamity happened. Gelmorra crumbled under the wake of Dalamud, and her family's holdings and many of their lives were lost in the destruction. Another tragedy. Another adjustment. Between her and the scattered remnants of Gelmorra, many of them took up banditry to survive. Hell, Vianne tried it for a while--about 5 years of it, but it wasn't putting enough food on the table.
She finally bit down her pride and made her way to the Gridanian archer's guild, and while she does not accept or approve of the Theocratic city-state that she now takes training from, it has to be the start of where she does what her family has taught her to do--carve out a slice of prosperity and protects those she loves.
Things of Note: While I cannot represent this in game, Vianne is short & fat. I do a lot of artistic adjustments to her in my art/modeling.
