This is what adventurer had to say during it:
Leera Molan lived her entire life by the sea. She was born and raised in Selbina, a fishing town along the coasts of Vana'diel. One day, at the age of fifteen, a ferry boat arrived hauling a great company of adventurer's. Leera had never seen so many adventurer's in one place. She watched silently as the adventurer's trouped passed her and very nearly forgot about her fishing line still bobbing along the surface of the brine. Suddenly, there was a firm tug upon her line which very nearly pulled her into the watery depths. She stood quickly, hands grasped firmly around her rod and pulled with all her might and as the tackle resurfaced a great Sea Monk appeared. She did not have time to react as the Sea Monk thrust a great tentacle towards her. Suddenly, someone jumped in front of her. Before her stood the tallest Elvaan male she had ever seen, sword and shield in hand. He slashed at the kraken with all his might, striking it's offending tentacles and staving off another with his shield. Her heart skipped a beat and her eyes widened as the Sea Monk made a quick retreat. He turned to her and smiled, "Are you alright, Ma'am?" Leera could only nod dumbly, her heart pounding in her chest. He held up a broken Mithran Rod and frowned, "I'm afraid it may have broken your fishing rod. Here, I'll fix it for you." When he was through, he offered it to her. She took the rod carefully from him and held it to her chest, "Thank you so much, mister. . ." He smiled and said, "My name is Rupies. Rupies Gilroy. Hey, why don't you teach me how to fish! Then I'll teach you how to fight." Leera obliged happily and was all too eager to learn. As they taught each other their trade, they spoke of many things. When the long day neared its end Rupies decided that it was about time to get back to his party. "We will depart at first light," he explained, "You had better head home now." Leera agreed and quickly turned to leave. As the first rays of dawn peaked over the horizon, Rupies's party of adventurers quickly roused and gathered their things. It was about the time that they were marching through the gates of Selbina. "HEY! WAIT FOR ME," she cried as she ran as fast as she was able towards them. Rupies turned back and released a cry of joy as the little taru woman ran towards them. "Another tag-a-long, eh," a brown-haired mithra chuckled from behind him, and then turned to continue on out of the gates. Rupies gave her a side-long glance and grinned as the little taru woman gained on him. He waited for her to catch up, and then continued on as well. The small party headed to back to their home of San d'Oria and trained Leera in the arts of adventuring. Some ten years later, a rumor circulated that a vast new world was discovered and hordes of adventurers flocked to the nearest ships and airships. Leera, along with the many friends she had made in her ten years of adventuring set sail for one of the many new cities and so began her next adventure, the journey to Eorzea.
