Jan Rosencrantz,loud,stupid,womaniser with a curious mind and very dangerous to be around. Not exactly the ideal person for a mage, but oddly enough he has an unnaturally gifted talent for handling the aether, from aggressive magic to support magic he can turn instantly to which is needed. He bonded with the giant Druss who he recognised as an honest man who had a terrible life, and due to his friendly nature wanted to help. Together they plied the trade as mercenaries Druss the perfect balance for Jans loudness. Until Jan met Alexi, something about Alexi and his goals of just helping people for no reward but the feeling of helping others, interested him, and so he signed up for the fledgling Section 9 and has discovered more about himself and his own kindness than he knew he possessed.
