Ce grand gaillard fait partie de la légendaire famille des Lays. Voulant suivre la voie de son ancêtre, il consacra sa vie à la défense des autres. Sa forte corpulence lui fourni indéniablement un atout majeur dans cette voie. Son plus grand rêve est de devenir un jour le plus grand tank que Eorzéa eu porté et ainsi pouvoir défier le puissant Bahamut.
