Visiting the page every 24 hours can help prioritize the update, but generally it happens within minutes. Once it's applied, you will see appropriate message. Note, that you may need to force-refresh the page (clear browser cache) to see the change. This also does not imply instant removal of the page from Google search results, and link to profile may still be present on groups' pages (same as with Lodestone).

This is what adventurer had to say during it:
War orphan of a defeated tribe of Xaela, Yamiko was found on the edge of a small village on a stormy evening. A hermit found the baby and decided to care for the little one. Because she was from an unknown tribe, the kids in the village stayed away from her. The hermit never hid the truth from the little one that she was not one from the village. The hermit trained Yamiko in the way of the fist to teach self-discipline and self-control as soon as she could walk. Yamiko would often question where he came from and who her parents were, but never dwelled on it. The hermit chose to educated her about the different Xaela Clans and the world itself. Even when she was little, Yamiko often wondered what tribe she was from and what happened to them or if there is anyone left. The hermit knew that he could not curve her appetite for adventure, it was in her blood after all. So one day, young Yamiko decided to set out to find herself in the world. The hermit embraced his adopted daughter and gave her his circlet as a memento. During her travels, Yamiko met with a group of Domans that were traveling to Central Coerthas, which eventually led her to Thanalan. There she had a run in with a pugilist who aided Yami after a run in with some unsavory characters. This Miqo'te was known as Kurami Tyatu.
After seeing Yami's fight with the thugs, Kurami would take Yamiko as her pupil in the way of the martial arts. Yamiko train for many moons in the Kurami fighting style which complimented her style taught by her adopted father. One day, Yamiko returned to the Guild only to hear whispers about Kurami being a traitor. Without hesitation, Yamiko set out to find her master. Not far from the Black Brush Station in Thanalan, she saw Kurami escaping on an airship fleeing for her life. Yamiko was able to track the ship to Central Coerthas. There, she found Kurami severely injured. Knowing that her Master would be unable to clear her name, Yamiko made the choice that she would continue in Kurami’s footsteps to not only uncover the truth and clear her Master's name, but to continue in the teachings of Kurami. Yamiko ventured to Ishgard to begin her mission...........
The name Yamiko (Ya-mi-ko), or Yami for short, was given to her by the hermit. Though little is known about her heritage, she never one to shy from who she is. Since she was little and was training, Yamiko was always taught that the way of the fist is to protect those who can't protect themselves. Yamiko believes strongly in this path like her masters who were both firm believers of this philosophy. Yami's uses her fighting style and discipline as a source of strength and confidence.
