Ben' s Tia est un miqo'te qui a longtemps lutter contre les Ascients.
Au fil des différentes victoires il rencontra à plusieurs reprise un autre Miqo'te du nom de Calham Noirsoleil.

Il semblait évident pour Ben's qu'un lien les unissait au vu de leur ressemblance quasi parfaite. Mais la vérité était bien plus étrange.

Ben' s est en faite victime d'une expérience des Ascients qui remonte au jour de sa naissance.

Afin de préparer leur invasion, ils tentèrent de dupliquer les nouveaux nés baignés par la lumière d'hydaelyn pour créer des guerriers des ténèbres.

Malheureusement leur plan ne pu aboutir et Ben' s fut le seul à être séparé en deux entitées distinctes.

Calham la partie de ténèbres de Ben 's fut confié à une famille de Limsa Lomnisa et ils grandirent chacun loin de l'autre.
L'un commençant une carrière de mage noir, l'autre d'invocateur.

Désormais au fait de leurs origines, les deux miqo' te changèrent de voix.

Ben' s emprunte maintenant le chemin pour devenir un Paladin, un chevalier de lumière absolue.

Calham lui cherche à construire sa propre existence en assumant sa part d'ombre et arpente désormais la route des Chevaliers noirs sans pour autant basculer du côté des Ascients qu'il affronte avec plus de vigueur au côté de son moi d'origine Ben' s.

Ensemble ils sont l'harmonie parfaite de la lumière et les ténèbres.
