Kujimaro is Tarutaru from the Federation of Windhurst, but one day, he suddenly disappeared in a freak accident when a rogue spell by the black mage Shantotto sent him flying into an aether whirlpool. After spending what seemed mere seconds drifting in the Lifestream, he emerged and found himself in the chaotic lands of post-Calamity Eorzea. Found and rescued by a passing merchant, he made his way to the Sultanate of Ul'dah, where he began his life anew.
