Kita Grew up as a hunter and adventurer, she was always bumming around with merc groups, going out to hunt game or Garleans when it was appropriate for her small group. After being called into a larger battle with the enemy, she was badly hurt, losing her first group she had come to see as her family. Her experience gave her resentment for the healers that waited behind the safety of the front line and healed those that returned. She started to learn basic medicine and conjuring magics to take with her to the front lines to save as many as she could, both friend and foe, slowly coming around to seeing life as precious and a gift. When she was 26 she joined a free company and met her first husband. He was a strong warrior, a Seeker of the Sun. They followed one another to danger and combat, never leaving one alone in the fight. A year later, she adopted two children into her family, though they were of age, they both had never known caring parents. She slowly improved her magics and medical knowledge, going to combat less and less on her own and more with her family. Then in her younger thirties, her husband and children decided to take on a mission from Gridania, to make a last hurrah before her and her husband retired from the soldier business and settle down finally. They never came home, though try as Kita might, she could not save her family from the cruelty of the Garleans, who saw her and her family as savages. The commander decided to let her suffer as they took her families lives from her, leaving her to wander with the knowledge that she could not save them. It has been about 7 years since that time and she has kept her motherly nature, the need to protect and heal, and her want to guide the young, but her past also weighs heavy on her and she does her best to swallow it and keep at it, working in her shop in Limsa.
