Out of the 3 "Cases" movies this is the best. I find second to be the weakest both in storytelling (although the story itself was ok) and production, while 1st was good in production, but weak in storytelling (again story was ok even though we've already seen some similar ones). 3rd had a very good pacing, expanded the world, expanded and developed Kogami and... Had amazing production, which also helped with delivering the story. The way the coloring, shadowing and lighting were used throughout the movie were excellent (one of the best I've seen, at least, close to Ufotable) and contrast between different "episodes" only enforced believe-ability of the story. I missed some more references to Kogami's old team and some more "psychological" or dualism stuff from original, some side characters and CG were more like "meh", but that does not take away from the overall experience.
