Even beginning school scene felt kinda forced. The way they present the two-worlds concept is kind of art-less. If anime started with that continued with convergence of some kind, that could work, but in this case - meh. Even Ni No Kuni movie was better at presenting the concept in a fluid, natural way. There was nice underboob. And re-introduction of princess was not staged that bad, although still predictable and hasty. After that I fast forwarded and saw only one "twist". It's uncommon to kill a major character at this point and it did make sense, but after that it seems to be pretty straightforward. For literal second half. Perhaps I'm spoiled, but this was not for me overall. If I had absolutely nothing else to watch, I'd watch it properly, but at this time - nah. So you may enjoy it, if you like this kind of CGI and concept, but keep you expectations at bay.
