
This is the case when anime can be a better medium, than manga. I tried manga last year and I found it... Meh. Interesting premise, but too silly and that's it. But in anime form - it's stupidly cute and funny. The animation and voice-acting add what I was missing in manga, so I will be continuing to watch it. And maybe try returning to manga one day. I mean, I doubt I would read about Rimuru Tempest if I have not watched the anime first, as well. I think.
Also, interesting coincidence: I am writing a story right now, and one of its themes is spiders. I've learn quite a lot about different species.
