People complained about rape in 1st episode of Goblin Slayer, but there it served a purpose: to show what goblins arw capable off. It was used to bring you into a darker world.
Here the rape scene is pointless. It's not graphic enough to bring sense of doom, not detailed or long enough to tell you, that the anine will be dark. It's just there for the sake od being there. Furthermore it starts the show. It's not at the end and does not bring anything to the show at all.
Just poor taste, same as the anime itself.
