My understanding was that I do not need to play the games to understand the anime, but... 8 minutes into the 1st episode made me feel, that maybe I do? Everything felt to be needing some previous knowledge (of either lore or characters), I was not getting anything of whatever was going on. Or am I just stupid and inattentive? I did not have that kind of the problem with DOTA or Arcane or Castlevania series (although for this one I did play some games).
