Dropping this. 2 main reasons:
- There is a mention of trauma the girl had, and the robot helped her overcome it, but it's just mentioned in passing and in such a way that suggests that they will not delve into it, but it's clear extremely important. So if this is based on 2nd novel, instead of 1st, I would assume that 1st novel handled this and it feels strange that i's being ignored for no apparent reason.
- The android was called "black box". It does not make sense, because if you build the bloody thing - you know how it makes decisions. You can't not know. This does not make sense.
